A ferry ride to paradise, nestled away is an idyllic oyster farm with strong island history. Once a bustling industry with world-renowned oysters, changes in climate and ownership lead to its eventual decline. By the time current owners, Erik and Andrea Anderson purchased the farm, it was in ruin. After years and years of hard work, and determination to restore the farm to its former glory, Westcott Bay Shellfish has bloomed into a prosperous farm, known for its superb oysters and local island eats. Growing high quality shellfish and supporting local farms and businesses, Westcott Bay is truly a taste of the islands like nowhere else. Come join us as we arrange our table among the tide. Chef Josh Ratza from Setsunai Noodle Bar will be back in the field kitchen after a magical meal on Lopez Island last year, where he delighted us with his house-made ramen noodles. He brings the best of the San Juan Islands’ community to the table, both through thoughtfully sourced ingredients and the friends and family who gather to share them.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
