Portland is our traditional first stop outside of California. The lovely farmers at Vibrant Valley Farm are always there to greet us as we truly begin our cross country journey. Kara and her team will surely be cooking up some indigo dye or putting together artful arrangements for us to enjoy before sitting down at the flower-lined table in their fields. They treat their flowers and vegetables with the same level of care and sustainable practices, regardless of whether they will end up as rich dyes for fabrics worn on your body or in delicious dishes that end up inside it. Meanwhile, Chef Kari Shaughnessy will be pulling the best of the season from their garden beds to go with ingredients from some of her other favorite local farms – she knows them all.

Purchase Policy

Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility.
